This book is wild—in the best way. I swear, I know a “Christy” and a “Napoleon” in real life. The stories felt so real, I had to double-check if it was fiction.
Kim Renay Anderson nailed the whole “entitlement gone wrong” thing. It’s funny, frustrating, and kind of sad all at once. Highly recommend if you like stories that keep it all the way real.
“Whew, this book had me yelling at the pages!”

This was hilarious and horrifying all at once. The characters are so ridiculous—but also entirely believable.
You’ll laugh, you’ll roll your eyes, and if you’re a parent, you’ll probably rethink that allowance. Each chapter is like its own episode of a drama series. I tore through it in two days. Total guilty pleasure with a message.
“Like watching a train wreck in slow motion… and I couldn’t look away.”

I picked this up because the title made me laugh, but wow… this book had DEPTH. It’s not just funny—it’s smart. It really made me think about how some parents create monsters without realizing it.
And the part about adult kids mistreating their elderly parents? Heartbreaking. I wish more people talked about this stuff. Mad respect to the author.
“Somebody had to say it—and Kim did!”

These bratty adult kids had me cracking up and shaking my head. The drama is top-tier. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to slap the characters or give them a reality show.
The writing style is super easy to get into—it feels like someone telling you juicy gossip with a lesson baked in. A must-read if you like your fiction spicy with a side of social truth.
“Petty, messy, and painfully true. Loved it.”
